I have an inexplicable affection for the kid, seeing as how he saved our ass against Luton. (And his cornrows never got on my nerves, like Rio's constantly do.) He seems to do well as a super-sub, but I can totally understand wanting more starting experience. I just would've preferred that he get that experience at Liverpool. Yes, I know we have four strikers ahead of him. But, hey. Sell Cisse! Why? 1) His form has been atrocious lately, 2) his hair is always atrocious, and 3) he hits his wife.
Maybe we can offload him in the summer and use some of that fee to finally get Owen back. He does not look happy at Newcastle, and since Rafa seems to be in an acquiring old players mood, why not get one who still has some pace?

Maybe a straight swap of Cisse for Owen? Yeah, I know they're not worth the same amount, but Cisse could fit right in with Lee Bowyer and the other charmers at Newcastle.
And now rafa sent sinama pongolle to blackburn and bring back fowler. Who would have predict that?
as long as Rafa in-charge, Owen may not be welcome back here (Anfield)... heck, give GOD the contract extension in the summer... forget Owen... if Owen price tag has gone down to £8M or lower then it might lure Rafa to get him... i think The Toons won't let him go without a huge sum on his head though...
